Project Home: Overview

If a new Hosting was booked, please follow this ToDo List.

Preperation

Customer Number

• Check if the customer was a new client or have already a booked service
• If it is a new customer create him in SevDesk to get the customer number
• If it is an existing customer go ahead to Point xyz

Booked Addons

• Check if some additinal Service Addons was booked

Technical Setup

• Check on which Plesk Server the customer should be installed
  • currently the following Server are available: Server Structure (we use david in this description)
• Create the Customer and Hosting in Plesk
  • https://david.melanin-business.com:8443/admin/customer/create
  • Plesk Username is the customer number from SevDesk
  • Hosting Username is in the format "s<timestamp>" (you can get the current timestamp here)
  • Dont activate Lets Encrypt now
  • Select the booked Service Packet (Webhosting S/M/L)
• Create tmp customer Domain: customer_number.melanin-business.com

Inform Customer

Inform the customer that the Hosting is ready and can be used. Please send the following Email template and replace yellow markings with the needed data.

Sehr geehrte(r) Frau/Herr Lastname,

gerne möchten wir Sie darüber informieren dass Ihr Hosting soeben freigeschaltet wurde und nun zur Verfügung steht.
Anbei senden wir Ihnen alle nötigen Daten, damit Sie oder Ihr Webmaster mit der Einrichtung beginnen können.

Contracts

• check if you have a signed Domain Service Contract
• check if you have a signed SEPA Bank Contract

Move Domain to the new Server

• create new ticket with Domain Service Contract as attachment and assign it to lutz@baebeca.de
• Activate Lets Encrypt (if booked) in the Hosting
